January 24, 1945 - Photo: 550 Squadron Band

From the Operations Record Book:  

The Squadron was again stood down from operations.  Visibility being less than 200 yards in fog.  No flying training was possible and the day was again devoted to ground training and physical exercises and saving logs from fallen trees.

Pilot Robert Harris was still being treated at 550 Squadron's medical unit as a result of burns sustained on January 18th.  The Harris Crew was grounded for the time-being.
