A day of intensified
flying training in which the Squadron carried out practice bombing, air to air
firing, air to sea firing, fighter affiliation and "Y" cross country
exercises.[1] In addition ground training and lectures were
given.

On February 18, 1945, the crew had a professional photo taken, along with 550 Squadron's famed 'Vulture Strikes!' Including a 1 hr 35 min daylight air-to-sea training flight this same day plus live operations to Dresden and Chemnitz, the crew flew aboard 'V' three times.
