From the Operations Record Book:  

Again there were no operational commitments and a good flying training programme comprising fighter affiliation, bombing practice,air to air air to sea and day and night cross country exercises.

In a letter home to Margaret on February 26, 1945, Harris lamented not having been able to write sooner, noting “… circumstances prevented me from writing.  Between Friday and today I was paying an unexpected visit to another station, and didn’t have the opportunity to write.”  After the Harris Crew had nearly been killed on their raid to Pforzheim, that was certainly a creative way to put it.
