From the Operations Record Book:  

Once again the Squadron was stood down and the day was again devoted to flying training similar to that carried out yesterday. In the evening the Squadron was called upon to prepare for an early morning take off.

After the Harris Crew's perilous raid on Pforzheim, 550 Squadron filed a station report on the incident to the headquarters for RAF Group 1.
