March 15, 1945 - A Postcard Home

With the transient nature of the camp, prisoners were entitled to send one letter or postcard informing their next-of-kin of their status and whereabouts, but received no incoming mail.  Douglas Hicks would send his postcard home to his mother on March 15, 1945, letting her know he was well and telling her not to worry.
