From the Operations Record Book:  

No operations. Flying training was carried out, day and night by eight crews involving almost 33 hrs flying. There was also an extensive ground training programme.

This video by Footage Farm offers an interesting insight into a Lancaster crew's uniforms and pre-flight activities taken at approximately the same time the Harris Crew was serving at North Killingholme.  This footage was taken at 186 Squadron at RAF Upwood in Cambridgeshire, England.
